報告題目（一）：Semidefinite Relaxations for MIMO Detection: Tightness, Tighterness, and Beyond
報告嘉賓：劉亞鋒 副研究員（中國科學院數學與系統科學研究院）
報告摘要：Multiple-input multi-output (MIMO) detection is a fundamental problem in modern digital communications. Semidefinite relaxation (SDR) based algorithms are a popular class of approaches to solving the problem because the algorithms have a polynomial-time worst-case complexity and generally can achieve a good detection error rate performance. In this talk, we shall present some recent results on SDRs for the MIMO detection problem.
嘉賓簡介：劉亞鋒，中國科學院數學與系統科學研究院計算數學所副研究員，IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications、IEEE Signal Processing Letters和Journal of Global Optimization 期刊編委；IEEE高級會員（Senior Member）、IEEE信號處理學會SPCOM（Signal Processing for Communications and Networking）技術委員會成員（Technical Committee）、中國運籌學會數學規劃分會副秘書長。2007年，畢業于西安電子科技大學理學院數學系，2012年，在中國科學院數學與系統科學研究院師從戴彧虹研究員，獲得博士學位；博士期間，在明尼蘇達大學訪學一年（合作導師：羅智泉教授）。
主要研究方向：最優化理論與算法及其在信號處理和無線通信等領域中的應用，已在Mathematical Programming, SIAM Journal on Optimization, Mathematics of Operations Research等優化期刊以及IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing, IEEE Journal on Selected Areas in Communications, IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications, IEEE Transactions on Information Theory 等IEEE交叉領域期刊發表論文四十余篇。曾獲2011年國際通信大會“最佳論文獎”（由IEEE通信學會頒發），2015年WiOpt (International Symposium on Modeling and Optimization in Mobile, Ad Hoc and Wireless Networks)“最佳學生論文獎”，2018年數學與系統科學研究院“陳景潤未來之星”，2018年中國運籌學會“青年科技獎”等。
報告題目（二）：An exact penalty approach for optimization with nonnegative orthogonality constraints
報告嘉賓：姜波 副教授（南京師范大學）
報告摘要：Optimization with nonnegative orthogonality constraints has wide applications in machine learning and data sciences. It is NP-hard due to some combinatorial properties of the constraints. In this talk, we shall discuss an exact penalty approach for solving the considered problems. The penalty model can recover the solution if the penalty parameter is sufficiently large other than going to infinity. Extensive numerical results on the orthogonal nonnegative matrix factorization problem and the K-indicators model show the effectiveness of our proposed approaches.
嘉賓簡介：姜波，南京師范大學數學科學學院副教授、碩士生導師，中國運籌學會數學規劃分會青年理事。2008年本科畢業于中國石油大學（華東），2013年博士畢業于中國科學院數學與系統科學研究院，師從戴彧虹研究員。2014年8月，就職于南京師范大學，2017年6月晉升為副教授。曾于2013年9月-2014年3月在美國明尼蘇達大學（雙城），2017年9月～2018年9月在香港理工大學應用數學系做博士后研究。入選第三屆（2017～2019年度）中國科協“青年人才托舉工程”。
主要研究方向：非線性優化算法與理論，特別是帶有正交約束的優化問題及其應用。目前主持國家自然科學基金面上項目1項。曾主持國家自然科學基金青年項目1項和江蘇省青年基金項目1項。在Mathematical Programming, SIAM Journal on Optimization, SIAM Journal on Scientific Computing, IEEE Transactions on Image Processing 等雜志發表學術論文7篇。
